Good News!

Good news!  Yesterday the US State Department issued an official notice on legal guardianships in Uganda.  They stated that as long as the guardianship ruling states that the child is to be adopted in the US they will issue a visa.  This basically means that the issue is resolved and families should be able to get visas soon and come home!  This also means that the rest of us can move forward.  Hooray!  Now we are just waiting to hear from our attorney (very patiently waiting, ha!) to find out if he has all of the paperwork on Mercy's background ready so we can ask for a court date.  We are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel!
