Melissa and Mercy left Uganda yesterday! They land in Wichita at 5pm tonight. Melissa will tell the great story in the days ahead. God is to be praised for he has been good to us.
Psalm 66:5-6
Come and see what God has done, how awesome his works in man’s behalf! He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot – come, let us rejoice in him.
there is REJOICING in our house right now!!!! my girls are dancing to these words, "i am not forgotten. i am not forgotten. i am not forgotten; God knows my name." making me even more weeping. He knows Mercy's name. and yours, too, Melissa. so proud of you. will be diligent in prayer for your family as you make this awesome, God-ordained transition!!

ReplyDeleteWe've never met but I went to Uganda last summer with Libraries of Love. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO happy for you and Mercy. I've only gotten to read a little of your blog but I definitely see God working through you. I firmly believe Mercy is an angel sent directly to you and it's no accident that you had to spend that extra time to get your Angel home to the US. You have done tremendous works through Him and I know it's just the beginning for you (and Mercy). Thank you for sharing your story and best wishes for a continued Blessed life! ReplyDeleteI am so overwhelmed with thankfulness to God that He has brought you and your angel home! I am the mom of Michelle Wilson. She has kept me up to date on your journey with Mercy. This past Monday she sent me a text asking that I pray for specific miracles this week. I was in a meeting at school and I shared the request with them. We had special prayer for you and Mercy right then! I can't wait to share your good news with them! God is so good!
