Prayers Please!

We really need you to pray for us today and tomorrow. Yesterday, we got some of the most encouraging news we’ve had in months and it came totally out of the blue. I love it when things work like that. It wasn’t one of the days when I’m stalking email all day long, but instead when I was gone all day enjoying myself (went to a Ugandan wedding ceremony, but that’s a post for another day!).
Anyway, tomorrow in Kampala some people at the Embassy will be meeting to discuss our case. They are discussing “some new short and long term plans for Mercy’s visa”. Also, our Washington, DC lawyer is still talking with the State Department. We’ve asked for some congressional help too. They should take some action tomorrow. So, tomorrow people in DC will also be discussing our case and possible solutions as well.

What does all of this mean? We could be on the brink of some good news and a way for me AND MERCY to come home for Christmas. Please pray before you go to bed tonight (that’s morning for us here in Kampala) and also in the morning as things start happening in DC. Thanks.
