A little news...

Well, first of all, Aunt Trudy and the 2nd "Libraries of Love" team got to see Mercy on Saturday.  They met her at the medical clinic and she stayed with them while they took a tour and visited with some patients.  Then, in true Aunt Trudy-style... Mercy's cargiver started heading home... so Trudy followed her and told her she wanted to see where she lived.  So, I got a bit more of a description of her home and family.  I'm so glad to hear how much this family loves her and will miss her.  They do not want to keep her forever, but Mercy is a very special part of their family.  I know it will be hard for all of them and for Mercy, when we come to get her, but I'm so glad that she knows how to love, has been loved, and has been part of a great family.  Mercy sleeps in the room with Anna and her husband, but thankfully not in the same bed with them.  That was one battle I didn't want to fight.  Anna has 3 sons (ages 12, 8, and 6)... one of which is named Elvis!  I may have to pick him up a little something with the King of Rock and Roll on it.  Anna also says that she started potty training her at 3 months, and that now except for a few accidents at night she is potty-trained... at 13 months.  Hmmm, I'll believe it when I see it. ;)  I'll still be packing diapers and wipes! You can read more about Trudy's adventures and the wonderful work that the "Libraries of Love" team has accomplished here.

In other news, I am told that the judges are now back at work after being gone to a conference for a couple of weeks.  Would you please pray for us (and the other waiting families) to get a court date this week?  It would be amazing if we could.  One family in particular is adopting a precious little girl with special needs.  Her condition has been deteriorating and she really needs proper medical care here in the US.  Please pray for her family to get a court date and an adoption very soon.  It may sound crazy, but I hope they get one before we do.  Our papers were filed at just about the same time, but they really need one now.

Thank you all so much for your continued love and support.  You've been such an encouragement to us.
