(written Wednesday night)
We went this afternoon for our visa interview. They had a concern with Mercy’s medical forms, so they asked us to go back to the embassy doctor. The consular also explained to me that they are behind on orphan investigations because of a great number of families being in country and the investigator just returned from training in the States. I turned in Mercy’s paperwork about two weeks ago so they could already have the investigation done, but no luck. We did make it to the embassy doctor before he closed and he said he would send them the right information right away. Hopefully that will take care of that problem. We are praying for a miracle and that we could all still come home together on Friday night. It’s looking pretty impossible right now, but we know that with God all things are possible. I’m homesick and ready to see Emma and Avery, and I know they are ready to have us home as well. Six weeks is a long time to have your mommy gone from home. Pray for us in the next couple of days… pray for good news and for the embassy to work quickly. Pray for Emma and Avery. And pray for Cody and I to have patience and wisdom in the days ahead. And please pray for me to feel better. I think I have a bit of a bug and then on top of that my sinuses are making me crazy. It doesn’t help that I ran out of my allergy meds and I’m three weeks overdue for my allergy injections. I got some new medicine this afternoon and I’m hoping it will help. Thank you so much for all of your love and encouragement.
