Just another Mercy Monday (insert Bangles music here)...
Ok, I am asking for each of you to participate in “Mercy Monday” again tomorrow. If you would be willing we’d love for you to wear your shirts, show off your Mercy beards/legs (this still makes me laugh!), share our story in person, on facebook, or your blog, and most importantly fast and pray for our family. This past week we’ve been at a standstill, but there is a possibility for some action this week. We know with God all things are possible. We are trusting in His timing, but also we know the power of prayer. So we ask for you to lift us up tomorrow. Again, I know that many of you pray for us every day, and we are so very grateful, but we ask for you to especially remember us tomorrow.
Some special requests:
• Movement in the Ugandan courts… we once again need to get assigned a judge and a court date. The earliest this could happen is Tuesday.
• We have some people working on our behalf in the US. Pray for them to make the right contacts and for those contacts to take action quickly.
• Our family… with Thanksgiving and Emma’s birthday (on Thanksgiving) I know this will be an especially difficult time for all of us to be apart.
• Mercy… she’s had a pretty continual ear infection since I’ve been here. We got new medicine this past week, but she is still showing some symptoms. Pray for healing and relief.
Thanks again and I look forward to seeing how God uses this prayer time for all of us. God has definitely used these 13 weeks to mold and shape me and my family, and I hope in some way our story can impact you as well.
